Rad Kids

Livy participated in the Rad Kids Self Defence program at school this year. This was their graduation from the course, where they got to practice all of their moves.

Livy was so excited to practice on a real live police officer.

The kids had to knee and hit their way past the "bad guy", then run to their teacher who was the "safe person".

She's Back

My Internet isn't good enough today to upload pictures to blogger. After two days of having a "brain cough" (her term for the headache that the coughing caused), a fever, and a case of being nice, Hailey is back to her old grumpy self again. She told Brian this morning that she had spilled her (dry) cereal on the carpet. Brian asked if she picked it up, and she said "No, I stomped it."

Livy had to decorate this turkey for a school project.

She drew this turkey for Hailey to decorate, so Hey-Bug didn't feel left out.

Poor Sick Hey-Bug

Hailey is sick today. She is running a fever and has a cough. And she is in a good mood, much better than normal really, which seems to make it all the sadder.

OK, since this is the day of rest, I am going to take a cue from my cat and be lazy with blogging. We have had a really fun weekend, and hope you did too. Brian and I went camping on Friday night, out to dinner with Rob and Lori on Saturday, and we got to listen to Olivia sing with the other kids for the Primary Program at church today. What was the funnest thing you did this weekend?

Movie Night With Gopher Teeth

The girls and I had a movie night last Monday. Even Buddy had fun, or maybe not.

Now that Olivia has lost her "Vampire teeth", she has "Gopher teeth".
